Durga Kund

Kunds and water bodies located in the holy city of the Varanasi where completely violated by excessive human encroachment till 2014. Under the flagship scheme of NMCG. This project is located in prime minister’s constituency, we were chosen to revive the holy waters of the kunds of Varanasi which included the redevelopment of surrounding areas. This was achieved with the combination of conservation, bio remediation and urban regeneration. Durga Kund located in the heart of the city is the showcase project of the all the kunds put together.
